Privacy policy
This page explains what personal data Kaliex Learning Academy processes, why, and what control you have over it.

Data we collect
Account: your email address, display name and a hashed password (we never store the password itself).
Learning activity: lessons you open and complete, video position, notes, quiz answers and scores, favourite lists, ratings and reviews.
Profile (optional): username, headline, bio, avatar, social links and interests. Your profile is private unless you make it public, and you choose which sections are shown.
Membership: your subscription status and renewal date. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never reach our servers.
Why we use it
To provide the service you signed up for: sign-in, access to courses, saving your progress, and your membership. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
Service providers
Stripe processes payments and invoices. Amazon Web Services (region eu-west-3, Paris) stores uploaded files and streams course videos. The application and its database run on servers operated for Kaliex. Instructors may use Anthropic's Claude to draft course material; your personal data is not sent to it.
Cookies and local storage
We use only what the site needs to work: a sign-in session and a security (CSRF) cookie, a cookie that remembers your language, short-lived cookies that authorise video playback, and your theme choice stored on your device. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
Retention
Account and learning data are kept while your account exists. Payment records are kept as long as accounting law requires.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. You can edit your profile at any time from your dashboard; for anything else, contact us.
